Alexandra Jacobs Meirowitz is a graduate of Brown University and the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law where she participated in the Family Law Clinic. Before joining the firm in 2008, Ms. Meirowitz was a trial attorney for the Brooklyn Family Court Legal Services office prosecuting civil child abuse and neglect cases for the Commissioner of the Administration for Children’s Services for five years. Ms. Meirowitz advocated for the Commissioner of ACS in contested hearings including trials, dispositions, permanency determinations, and emergency applications on a daily basis. Ms. Meirowitz is a member of the Nassau County Bar Association.
